Unimemo Shaman King App

Along with the Shaman King slot machine that was released in Japan on February 3^rd, 2025, a Shaman King companion app was released within the Unimemo app. The Unimemo app allows you to keep a user profile when playing certain Universal Entertainment slot machines in Japan. It can keep track of some of your preferences as well as various stats. While the app is not required to play the slot machine, the Unimemo app can unlock various rewards such as user icons and banners.

The app is free to join and if you enter into the Shaman King section in the app you can unlock various rewards. Every day you log into the app you will get a login bonus of various amounts of points. You can then spend these points to buy pre-selected profile icons or do a gacha pull for a random reward. Once you unlock the rewards you can either update your profile or download them to your phone to be used on social media or your phone wallpaper. None of these benefits provide any better luck or enhancements to the actual slot machine game.

If you are in Japan, you can use your phone’s camera to read a QR code on the machine to automatically log in on the Shaman King slot machine.

Similar to the slot machine game, the Unimemo app also features a new custom animation when you are doing the gacha. This animation is a combination of the CG models previously used in the Shaman King Funbari Chronicles game alongside new traditional animation done likely by Studio Bridge, who worked on the 2021 Shaman King anime. The gacha animations feature the following characters at random:

Yoh
Ren
Horohoro
Lyserg
Chocolove
Anna

The character you have for the gacha animation has no impact on the type of rewards you get. There is no audio/sound for the gacha animations.

The Unimemo (ユニメモ) app is available on the Japanese Google Play and Apple App store. Additional information about the app is found on the official website in Japanese. There are banner ads within the app which do promote various pachinko and pachislot games in Japan. While not considered gambling, you still must be 18 or older to play pachinko or pachislot games in Japan and have similar elements to gambling machines. If you are sensitive to common elements found in machine-based gambling, it is not recommended that you download the app and may be served ads within the app that are similar in nature.
